Kibera Transformation and Development Program is a story based on love and compassion for the poor. KTDP was started in 2003 to improve the social-economic wellbeing of children, youth and families in Kibera slum. KTDP provides education, knowledge, skills and social-awareness t othe Kibera community, the largest slum in Kenya.

KTDP is an organization registered under the NGO Act of Kenya. KTDP is a daughter organization of Children of Africa (afrikasbarn). Children of Africa is a voluntary organization working for children and young people in Africa to meet basic needs for food, clothing, schooling and medical care. We also believe that it is possible to give children confidence and love. The goal is to give them a chance to succeed in life and give them the smile back.
